Do mention that we have sent you in their direction, if the opportunity arises

These maps will help you to navigate Shropshire and Shrewsbury, once you are here. I would also recommend a trip to the Tourism Office in the old Music Hall in the town square - originalshrewsbury.co.uk. Within the cottage, there is a notebook on the dining room sideboard - with many recommendations for eating, drinking, coffee, shopping and entertainment. If you wish to book anything in advance - I can happily forward some personal recommendations.

Here are some tips to start!

On the night of arrival - the neighbourhood restaurant, Bevans, is about 30 seconds walk from the cottage, AleOli Y Tu tapas two minutes walk, The Boat House Inn about five minutes walk and The Armoury five minutes too. It really is, though, only around five minutes walk into town. No 8 is near to the Welsh Bridge route into town.
